  4. For the Macintosh enthusiast who doesn't want to wait for Copland, UnDoIt!
  5. is a shareware utility that lets you undo most Finder commands. Unlike     the
  6. current Finder undo that is restricted to edit commands on text fields,
  7. UnDoIt! undoes Finder actions on most desktop objects including volumes,
  8. folders, and documents. UnDoIt! can undo after you close, move, unmount
  9. volume and more.

  11. Suppose you just option-clicked your way through several layers of folders to
  12. find an important document, then closed it before you were ready.  Do you
  13. have to click your way back to the document? Just UnDoIt!

  15. Or, suppose you accidentally unmounted a network volume by mistake.  Do
  16. you need to open Chooser, find the right zone, and select the volume again?                 
  17. Just UnDoIt!

  19. Have you ever accidentally put away a folder on your desktop and then had
  20. to dig it out of your hard disk?  Just UnDoIt!

  22. Or maybe you've just dragged several items to the    trash by accident.  Do you
  23. really have to open the trash, sort through all of your garbage to find the                 
  24. items, then drag them out again?  Just UnDoIt!

  26. UnDoIt! installs a menu next to the help menu. It keeps track of the last
  27. thing that you did that it's able to undo. It tries to make sure that *you*
  28. (as opposed to Apple Script or another application) performed the action
  29. before offering to undo it.

  31. UnDoIt! is shareware.  You will be able to try UnDoIt! free for 15 days.  At the
  32. end of 15 days, UnDoIt! will time out. You will receive several notifications
  33. telling you how you can purchase UnDoIt!.

  38. 1. Place the UnDoIt! extension into the Extensions folder in the System Folder
  39. 2. If you don't have System 7.5, then you need to place the Thread Manager and
  40. the 7.0/7.1 AppleGuide Enabler into the Extensions folder in the System Folder.

  96. How to Register

  98. UnDoIt! is shareware. It is not free software. If you use UnDoIt!, you will
  99. be asked to pay the $12 registration fee. After you register, you will be
  100. sent a code to disable the message that appears at startup. If after
  101. fifteen days UnDoIt! is still not registered, the program will time out.

  103. Paying for UnDoIt! is fairly simple. Open the Register program that
  104. accompanies UnDoIt!. Enter your name, your email address, and the number
  105. of single user licenses you desire. Save or Copy or Print the data from the
  106. Register program and send the data and payment to Kagi Shareware. Kagi
  107. Shareware handles all payment processing.

  109. If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data
  110. to Kagi Shareware. Their email address is shareware@kagi.com and their fax
  111. number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either Copy the data from Register and
  112. paste into the body of an email message or you can Save the data to a file
  113. and you can attach that file to an email message. There is no need to
  114. compress the data file. If you have a fax modem, just Print the data to the
  115. Kagi fax number.

  117. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive
  118. an email acknowledgment once it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up
  119. to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet email address you will
  120. receive an email acknowledgment.

  122. If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the
  123. Register application and send it to the address shown on the form, which is:

  130. You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but if you
  131. pay via check, it must be a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi Shareware cannot
  132. accept checks in other currencies.

  134. If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the
  135. Register program and then select Invoice as your payment method. Print three
  136. copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You might
  137. want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of
  138. the form with their payment.

  140. Kagi Shareware can not invoice your company, you need to act on their behalf
  141. and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.

  143. Please do not fax or email payment forms that indicate Cash, Check or
  144. Invoice as the payment method.

  146. Payments sent via postal mail take time to reach Kagi Shareware and then up
  147. to 10 days for processing. Again, if you include a correct email address,
  148. you will hear from Kagi Shareware when the form is processed.

  150. UnDoIt! has a protection scheme and when you pay, Kagi Shareware sends you
  151. a registration code to disable the message that appears at startup, or
  152. enable the program if it has already timed out. If you do not have an email
  153. address you should consider selecting the Postcard Receipt so that Kagi
  154. can inform you of your registration code. Kagi transmits the registration
  155. codes via email and paid postcard receipt only.
